So, my line-up for Sakura-con 2013 is pretty iffy. I have some cosplays that I WANT to bring but, I'm working on so many that I can't figure out how I would wear ALL of them!
First of all, I never finished Sakuya from Fatal Frame IV (I got super sick the week of Aki-con and even lost my voice...yeah didn't finish!). Thus, I will be finishing that up for Sakura-con! Even though Sakuya is supposed to have the "squigle" face I'm going to wear red contacts because I think it gives the look a very nice touch!
Second on the list of cosplays is Skyward Sword Zelda. I really loved the peasant look. I posted an update of it so far. I just need to add the trim and hem the sleeves, neckline, bottom and it's done. I might do the Lyre as well. It just depends on my timing.
Third on the list is an original Steampunk of Midna from Zelda:Twilight Princess. I did an original design and I talk about it more in the update post pic I took. It's all done and I'm super happy with it! Happy to be painted again too!
Fourth on the list is a last minute addition that I COULD NOT LEAVE OUT! Korra from Avatar: Legend of Korra. I'm making her normal outfit along with her Southern Water Tribe jacket. I just got the wig in the mail on Tuesday, so I'll be busy cutting and styling that. I also need to finish sewing it up. I purchased actual pigskin suede for the mukluk boots. I wanted to make it traditional fabric looking, but I saw the fabric fur pieces (still shaped like rabbits) and I felt horrible. I don't eat rabbits...so I felt bad. I eat pigs, so the suede I HAVE to accept because if you don't accept what you eat then you shouldn't be eating it, right? And...one of my cats feels like a Rabbit and kind of looks like a little white Rabbit...it made me think of her just dead...so...yep, couldn't do that!
Fifth is Mio from Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterly. I already made this last october for Aki-con2012 so I didn't have to do anything new. Maybe fix the elastic waistband on the skirt if I have time, but I don't have much of that lately anyway...who knows.

Now, I was looking at the schedule for Sakura-con and I was seeing all these photoshoots and I'm super disappointed because there are so many that I have cosplays for but, I can't bring all the cosplays. Like Vivaldi from Alice in the Country of Hearts (there is a shoot!) and Yuna from FFX (the shoot collides with a Zelda shoot...can't do it!) But...I might just bring Yuna anyway, I've been feeling like wearing her!

Anyways, see you all at Sakura-con 2013!! Only 6 days!
