So, now that I'm working full time and have money, I am able to go and buy all I want for cosplays! so exciting
I bought the fabric for my Tales of Symphonia cosplay (I'm doing Presea). Her outfit is pretty simple, and I bought a pattern that I'm going to mess with in order to get the perfect outfit. I'm also making boot spats for presea's shoes and have loads of fabric and interfacing for that ^_^. My two concerns with this cosplay are 1)finding a wig that works and looks great 2)making a giant axe...I try to avoid making weapons that i'll have to carry around for the portion of the concention that I'll be a character...with my Yuna cosplay, I just totally gave up on the staff and decided I didn't want to carry it around and it was forfeited...but, presea's axe is too awesome..can't let it go!
Also, I bought the fabric for my Riza cosplay...at least her werewolf hands anyway ^___^ i'm excited about that one. I can make a cosplay outfit just fine, but, wolf hands are going to be a new and (most likely) irritating experience that will take me a pain-stakingly long time to finish...but will be completely worth it in the end! I bought way too much fur fabric, so i made a "mock-paw" and it was too tight and more like a furry, four-fingered glove as opposed to a wolf \paw...so now I know exactly what I need to do to accomplish this task in the correct fashion. ....if I can find the time to do it....
So far my schedule is as follows:
Mon.-Fri. get up at 8-ish and commute to Seattle to work from 10:30 to 7:30pm and get home around 8-ish, do homework for about an hour or so and then go to bed....Weekends are better, Saturday I hold for completely doing NOTHING (no work or school anyway..if I can help it) and Sunday is dedicated to ALL college work.

I'm having a hell of a good time, honestly....=_= as I drain my life away with full-time work, full-time college courses, friends/family and cosplays! haha ...when do I sleep? i don't...not really, but, Anxiety medicine is working miracles on my irritable behaivor and I'm a lot happier than usual ....as for art...I'm having a block...nothing to do about that....I mean, I've been working on about 5-8 pieces that have been continuously stalled...but, just have to keep telling myself that things are good and I'm good and happy...at least I should be right? hahaha at least my spirits are high

...ok the cat is telling me to go to bed...so that's it for now!!

Any commissions would be GREAT! I'm open to try anything new!!
